On 10th May 2016 RWS commemorated the birth anniversary of Guru Rabindranath Tagore with glittering colours. Dance recitals were put up by the students based on Tagore’s songs. The school choir gave a splendid rendition on musical notes. Along with this the school also acknowledged the achievements of its students in academics who, in future will take the reputation of the school to new heights. Students received their awards & mementos from their parents. This inclusiveness was a reflection of the school’s belief in school-parent partnership and allows guardians to actively participate in celebrating the success of their wards.
The school Principal Mrs. Manisha Singh lauded the efforts of all prize winners, teachers & parents and stressed on the need to work hard towards achieving one’s dreams. She also walked down the memory lane informing the audience about Tagore’s famous composition Geetanjali that made him the first Asian Nobel Prize winner in Literature.
